Ruston's Roses has one of the biggest, most diverse and important collections of Roses in the world and in October 2005 was named as home of the National Rose Collection of Australia.

Originally a fruit orchard, the property today is one of the Riverland's premier tourist destinations attracting more than 8,000 visitors from around the world each year.

The collection includes Modern Garden Rose such as Hybrid Teas, Floribundas, Miniatures and Ground Covers, Old Garden Roses including  Gallicas, Damasks, Centifolias, Mosses, Bourbons, Teas, Noisettes, Hybrid Perpetuals, Musks and Rugosas as well as a number of Species Roses.

In more recent times considerable plantings of David Austin Roses have been undertaken making the Ruston’s Roses the largest cut flower grower of these popular roses in Australia.  In 2005 a range of Delbard roses were planted both for commercial cut flower production and as part of a display garden.

Today there are roses further than the eye can see and the importance of this collection has been internationally recognized and has been acclaimed by many international rose experts.
